Tran Sam

Tran Sam is a transgender puppet. The goal of this piece was to create a toy for children that taught about gender identity. Tran Sam comes with a number of exchangeable parts. A child could play with the puppet to mix and match parts that were traditionally thought of as male and female. While this would a relatively playful experience, hopefully the child would be more understanding and accepting of their transgender peers one day.
