From the moment you interact with an object, it starts to deteriorate, to break down, to become flawed. Devenir is a small series of products and furniture that play with the way in which our possessions age.

This candlestick has been made from brass, then dipped in a thin layer of concrete. As the candlestick ages, the concrete will slowly chip away, allowing the brass to become visible. The chips and cracks that this piece obtains will play a part in slowly evolving the candlestick.
